Car Trackday instruction

Car Track Day Instruction

Instruction will be provided by an ARDS license professional instructor’s on trackdays in the UK as it’s a H&S requirement. You can book your instruction in advance or on the day. Each session will last 20 minutes and costs approx £30.00.
TrackDays.com approved event will normally will have 3 – 6 instructors present on our days so don’t worry there will be a chance to book yours.

Your 20 minute session will be accompanied by one of the instructors. The 20 minute session will be tailored to get the maximum out of yourself and the car without stress or drama. Lap after lap, develop your technique until you are driving like a true professional.

Most organisers are not officially training organisations and track days are not about learning to race it is still an advantage to have some instruction. When the instructors are not out on the circuit they will be in the pit lane to chat with other drivers and pass on some advice, if needed!

The Association of Racing Drivers Schools (ARDS) was set up as the regulatory body that would set and maintain appropriate standards of tuition and operational safety for Race Schools in the UK. Bare in mind though that they do not warrant the quality of instructors and some are better than others.

NOTE ON “FREE” INSTRUCTORS:

Lets be clear – its’s you that is the enthusiast and you are paying to be there. Why, because organisers and staff are professionals who are paid to be there – it’s their living. Beware and avoid any organiser offering “free” instruction. It’s either calculated into everybodys price or simply put not up to standard. Good, full time instructors charge! You’ll find quality is directly comparable to price. £30 isn’t expensive, and we’ve not met anyone who thought it’s not the best upgrade to a car: the driver. Consider also a full days worth but AVOID TRACKDAY ORGANISERS OFFERING INSTRUCTION FOR FREE!
